THE FIRM is an Alternative Pop Band from Indonesia. Started by the same interested about music, The Bands with personnel’s are Odie, Aji, Ariel & Anay Ndut were lacked of personnel for vocalist and keyboardist position. Then they recruited Ipang & Ian Gorgom for join to the group and made a new band. Retro and futuristic sounds built up the character of the band, the band then called THE FIRM. THE FIRM tries to give hopeless and dark feel in their music.
Broken hearted is something bad, but THE FIRM presents that bad things to be beautiful. In their songs, romantics and reality lyrics about failing in love are being one of their characters. Static’s vocal, classic distortion guitar effects, conservative harmonic bass, keyboard and synthesizer as pressure of the taste. The Firm inspired by Radiohead, Rialto, Sonic Youth, Morrissey, Moby, etc.
