Berawal dari keinginan yang kuat untuk mewujudkan apa yang menjadi cita citanya, Pada tahun 2003, Rommy hijrah ke ibukota meninggalkan kota kelahirannya Manado.
Dengan berbekal bakatnya yang mahir dalam membuat lagu, Rommy mulai membentuk band di jakarta yang ironisnya tidak berusia panjang.
Sudah beberapa band yang pernah dibentuknya, namun karena berbagai hal band band tersebut tidak dapat eksis seperti yang diinginkannya. beberapa demo lagu yang sudah pernah dibikin pun akhirnya hanya menjadi bagian dari sejarah bermusiknya.
Tahun 2008 materi lagu-lagunya mendapatkan perhatian khusus dari seseorang yang mau membantunya memproduksi materi tersebut yang akhirnya pada Agustus 2009 menghasilkan 4 lagu bernuansa ballad; Bunga, Menyakitkan, Penantian, dan Cinta Bukan Terpaksa yang dikemas dalam bentuk mini album.
Empat komposisi lagu yang berhasil dikemas dengan apik oleh rommy dan semakin kental nuansa ballad yang khas berkat sentuhan tangan dingin sang producer Pay BIP.
Mini album Rommy ini akan dilempar ke pasar mulai awal Januari 2010 dibawah Palu Musik Indonesia.
